No diet there, this traditionnel french dessert will fix your sugar cravings for weeks but hey... it's ok ! Just indulge and love yourself :)

For 4/6 pers. :
6 organic Golden apples
1 puff pastry (home-made is the best !)
100g unsalted butter
150g raw sugar
1 vanilla pod
Instructions :
Pre-heat the oven at 180 degrees
Peel and cut the apples in 8
In a pan, melt the butter and add the sugar. Slice the vanilla pod and add it into the mix. Heat to caramelize but be careful not to burn it. Once the texture gets a bit thicker, throw the apples and poached on both sides.
When the apples start getting soft and take a nice brown color, transfer into a round baking tin (24cm).
Cover with the puff pastry.
Bake for 20mn.
Let it cool down for about 15mn and turn upside down on a plate.
Serve warm or cold with whipped cream or one scoop of vanilla ice cream (more sugar ;)).
